US Jails Man For Collecting Rainwater!
For several decades now, the US has been using the bogey of human rights violation to use force against smaller nations – Iraq, Yugoslavia, East Timor, Sierra Leone, Zaire (Congo), and now Syria.
Inside the United States, the situation is no different. The police are armed to teeth. Opposition to the oligarchy that controls the US is muzzled by the brutal hand of the state.
Even when citizens are minding their own business, the local politburo finds a desperate excuse ingress on their rights. The latest is a case in point – a man was jailed because he created ponds on his properties to collect rainwater.
While the US regularly publishes a human rights reports on all the countries of the world, the effort does not cover the United States.
